hand crafted goodness

a (much needed) break from clothes for you all. here are some amazing pieces that people made for us. this baby truly has the best family surrounding it!

Grammy Ashman saw little owl pillows online. she copied the pattern and made them herself. i keep telling her she could sell these for ridiculous amounts of money in Noho or Chicago. they're just too cute.


then she painted this little chair for us. it matches the shower invites she made, of course! i think she has a future in this as a business!!!



from Linder and Kate. i believe a local BK artist did this little number.


and then Heather made this amazing quilt. she had a bunch of our friends make squares. then they all sent them in and she made this. i am so in love with it that i don't even want to use it. it's so gorgeous!!! the pictures don't even do it justice. they're each so unique and wonderful. you'll have to come see it in person to really check it out!

juuuuuust waiting

i am so ready. but just sitting around waiting. the nursery is (almost) finished and i have little left to do but sit around. just kicking back and enjoying my Saturday. i suppose i can hold out until April - if my body doesn't give out by then. April Fools Day would be a fun birthday!

i don't really have much to update so perhaps some more clothing pictures. can't help but fall in love with the teeny tiny things.

thank you Coya for recommending one and thank you Nikoletta for buying me one! i got a new Moby in the mail this week. each night i have tied on a sack of flour or sugar and walk all over the house testing new "holds." i can promise you - me at 8.75mo pregnant...in my undies...wrapped in a Moby...carrying sugar...is a site to see!

not a breech!

had another ultrasound today because the little bugger kept flipping around into breech position for the midwives. as i suspected - it is back to the correct position. it just needs to stay there for another 4 weeks.
