piece de resistance!!!

get out of town. just found these perfect little furry numbers. can't wait to pair them with gold lame' leggings!

we finished the natural birthing class last week and the breastfeeding class. was hoping to take hypnobirthing but i may just try the CDs that Searah is going to send our way (if Dawn ever pops out her bundle of joy). Grandma Kelly suggests some lamaze classes to learn some breathing techniques. perhaps i will look into those today. other than that, things are good. i am tired and it's not fun breathing but i feel great. i think the four classes a week at the gym are a godsend. dance tonight, woot woot!

i have to have yet another ultrasound in a few weeks. the baby keeps spinning around in there and the midwives keep reading the results of that spinning as "breech." i don't trust it though, i feel pretty in tune to the little guy and i am 99% sure those are it's feet kicking up toward my head all night long. so no worries there. speaking of kicking - the little bugger was kicking so hard last night that it kicked through my stomach and woke Gwen up through her back. awesome.

  1. Hi there! Getting close YAY!!!

Malone flipped and flopped up until I was about 37.5 weeks when he finally decided head down was the right way to go.

I never went to lamaze classes, but took the childbirth classes at Cooley Dick. They were ran by a Doula who suggested moaning through through your throat. She said open throat = open cervix. I'm not sure where she got that from, but it worked for me. I was able to labor like that for a long time before having to have an epi. I was able to handle the contractions fine, but was unprepared for the pressure in other places.

Also, if you don't know already, Cooley has a great program for new families called Beyond Birth. It's on Thursday at 1:00 (I think) and its from birth to 4 months. I met TONS of great mamas/daddies/partners through it and now Malone has tons of little baby friends his age.

    Good luck!!!!
